Midday set for Curragh

Midday is being targeted at the Stobart Ireland Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh following her fine effort at Epsom last week.

The five-year-old finished just a length behind St Nicholas Abbey in the Coronation Cup having looked a likely winner when taking it up three furlongs out.

She had no answer to the winner's late charge but Cecil was delighted with her performance and now plans to send her to the Kildare venue on June 25th in search of a sixth Group One victory.

He told www.henrycecil.com: "Midday has come out of her latest race well.

"I am happy with her and the intention at this stage is to run in the Pretty Polly Stakes in a fortnight's time, all being well."
