Midnight Dusk (9/1 — 11/2) registered consecutive wins today, as the Jack Foley-trained three-year-old colt easily landed the Curragh’s Fitzpatrick's Garage Group Handicap under jockey Billy Lee.

Successful at Dundalk last December and at Fairyhouse on his previous start 15 days ago, the son of Havana Grey today made much of the running and quickened clear to win by 3.25 lengths from Go Athletico .

Midnight Dusk carries the colours of prominent point-to-point consignor Donnacha Doyle, with Foley reporting “he is clearly improving and is in the July Horses-In-Training Sales, so we'll regroup and see after that. Billy loved him today, so I hope Donnacha doesn't sell!

“Billy won on him the last day in Fairyhouse when he really liked him, and suggested coming to a straight track. He also said we'll definitely be stepping up in grade after today.

“When the weights came out, Billy was keen to ride off today’s lighter weight (8st 13lb) so we were all for having him, as he has been a good help to us lately."
