Minalisa ready for Sweet Mimosa Rae Guest's progressive filly Minalisa will have her first attempt at achieving some black type in Wednesday's Dark Angel European Breeders Fund Sweet Mimosa Stakes at Naas. Now four, but unraced as a juvenile, Minalisa has thrived during the warm summer and won at Warwick before chasing home Cincinnati Kit at Doncaster. Last week at Yarmouth, she bolted up in a six-furlong fillies' handicap and will stick at the same trip for the Irish Listed contest. "The plan is to run," Guest said. "The horse that beat her at Doncaster won again at Newmarket on Saturday so the form looks good. I think she deserves to take her chance."
