Missouri Snow rewards Slevin in Sligo Point-to-point winner Missouri Snow (9/1) made a successful transition to the track in the mares' bumper at Sligo. A whole host of horses held chances as the race unfolded in the final quarter of a mile. Harry Swan availed of a gap to send Missouri Snow into contention inside the final furlong. She took over with 150 yards to go and Swan kept her up to her work to fend off the closing Ballito Beauty (40/1 - 25/1) and Peat Sounds (5/4f) in second and third respectively. Nigel Slevin said: "She's a nice mare and is very well related on the dam's side. "Harry rode her when she won her point-to-point. She was green that day and it sharpened her up. "When we didn't get her sold (at Cheltenham in April), we said we'd rock on with her "We quietly fancied her, but you never know what you're coming up against in a bumper. "She went through the gap quickly when it opened, and it was a good performance. "We've had a bit of success at Sligo. Our horses seem to act well around here, so we're happy to keep coming back."
