Molly Hall makes all to land the finale at Ballinrobe Molly Hall followed up her recent win at Gowran Park when again making all the running to land the concluding KOG Logistics Handicap at Ballinrobe. In front from the start, Robert Whearty set steady fractions on the Alan McIntyre grey, gradually increasing the tempo leaving the back straight. Pushed along over two-furlongs out, the seven-year-old quickened up entering the home straight, keeping on strongly to beat Desert Friend. “She’s fantastic. That’s her fourth win for me,” said McIntyre. “She’s so consistent. Having horses like that, even at that grade, if they are doing that you really want to have them. “There is a two mile in the Curragh, 50 grand pot, and she might go for that. That’s probably made for her, she’s won over two miles before. “She’s really settled and she’s a real little professional now. “She’s won over a mile-and-three and she’s quick enough, hopefully it’s onwards and upwards with her now. “We’ll see what the handicapper does now. She’s probably improving, she’s probably going places. You’d be starting to think of nice pots for her.” Additional reporting by Gary Carson.
