Moore duo in Tripleprint

Arthur Moore is responsible for the only two Irish entries left in the Tripleprint Gold Cup.

Lyreen Wonder and More Than A Stroll are the only possible raiders from this side of the Irish sea for the Stg#100,000 Cheltenham feature on December 15th.

Edward O`Grady sent out the first Irish winner of this race since 1971, last year, when Go Roger Go held Robbo by a neck.

There is a record number of 42 entries for the Class C handicap chase over two miles and five furlongs.

Cyfor Malta, who made a triumphant comeback from injury at Newbury last Saturday, heads a 13-strong entry from the Martin Pipe stable.

Pipe`s formidable-looking team also includes Shooting Light, Exit Swinger and Cadougold.

The trio were first, third and fourth respectively for the Nicholashayne trainer in the Thomas Pink Gold Cup at the Prestbury Park track last month.

Pipe has twice won the race with Fragrant Dawn (1993) and Northern Starlight (1998).

A re-run of the Thomas Pink is on thecards as runner-up Foly Pleasant has been put in by Henrietta Knight. The Wantage trainer`s other possible is Be My Manager.

Other interesting entries include Jonjo O`Neill`s 1999 winner Legal Right, the Paul Nicholls-trained Fadalko and Nicky Henderson`s Geos.
