Chemistry landed the odds in the Visit Irish National Stud And Gardens Irish EBF Maiden under a no nonsense front-running ride by Ryan Moore at the Curragh.

The son of Kingman, third on debut at Naas last autumn, was rousted along leaving the stalls to get to the front from a wide draw and proceeded to make all the running.

The 8/13 favourite was five lengths clear entering the straight in this ten-furlong event and was ridden right out inside the final furlong by Moore to prevail by a length and a half from the staying on Bloom Vega Northern Sonas outran odds of 80/1 a further two and a quarter lengths back in third.

Winning trainer Aidan O'Brien said, "He's hardy and he stays well, he gave him a good ride.

“He's a horse that looks like he'll stay well.”
