Moore looking forward to Highland ride Aidan O'Brien's globetrotting Highland Reel lines up in what promises to be a thrilling renewal of the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan. Highland Reel looked something of a nearly horse after suffering defeat in the French 2000 Guineas, the French Derby and the Irish Derby in the first half of last season. But after a confidence-boosting victory in the Gordon Stakes at Glorious Goodwood, the four-year-old went on to land the Secretariat Stakes at Arlington Park and the Hong Kong Vase. Ryan Moore partnered the Galileo colt to his lucrative victory in the Far East and is relishing the opportunity to get back on board this weekend. "This is by far the best race of the night, and my horse goes there with every chance. In fact, he is my best chance of a winner on the card," Moore told Betfair. "Aidan did a superb job with Highland Reel last season considering that he started his campaign in the French 2000 Guineas, and that his form was in danger of tailing off after his fifth in the Irish Derby. "But he then progressed to put up a superb effort to win the Secretariat by a wide margin and then was still fresh and well enough to finish third for me in the Cox Plate and then run a career-best when beating Flintshire in the Hong Kong Vase in December, where he really found for me in the final furlong. "The runner-up is a top-flight animal when he gets his ground and the third, Dariyan, is no mug either and also takes his chance here. "The King George and Foy winner Postponed arguably sets the form standard, and he proved his well-being here earlier in the month, but could he have beaten Flintshire in the manner that I did in the Vase? I am not so sure, though on a line through Dariyan there is not much between them. "The lack of a recent run could be a negative for me, but I think Aidan knows what he is doing on that score. "I wouldn't get off my horse for any other in this race." As well as the ante-post favourite favourite Postponed, representing Roger Varian, Japanese Derby winner Duramente and David Simcock's Sheikhzayedroad also feature in a nine-strong field.
