Ryan Moore will replace the sidelined Frankie Dettori aboard Sandiva in Sunday's Total Prix Marcel Bousaac at Longchamp.

The Italian is retained by owner Sheikh Joaan Bin Hamad Al Thani and was aboard the daughter of Footstepsinthesand for her win in the Prix Du Calvados at Deauville. However be broke his ankle in a fall at Nottingham on Wednesday and has been ruled out for the rest of the campaign.

Trainer Richard Fahey told sportinglife.com: "I feel so sorry for Frankie. He is a fantastic jockey and was really looking forward to riding Sandiva again. Ryan Moore will now take the ride and he's also on Garswood in the Prix de la Foret.

"I am worried about very soft ground for Sandiva as she's stepping up to a mile at the weekend. I keep making phone calls to France to see how much rain is likely and get a different answer each time.

"She and Garswood leave for France on Thursday evening and both are in great form."
