Moore out of weekend action Ryan Moore will sit out the remainder of the July meeting at Newmarket following a nasty incident before the final race at the track on Thursday. Moore's mount Newton's Law became trapped under the stalls and while the rider was quickly to his feet, he walked away a little gingerly. He was reported to be complaining of pain in his neck and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for checks. He stayed in hospital overnight and will undergo further examination today. His agent Tony Hind said: "He's just taking the weekend off and will be having another scan today. "He had a scan yesterday and they didn't find anything, but they kept him in overnight and he will be having another precautionary scan just to make sure there's nothing there. "He's fine in himself - he's a very tough boy." Moore had a handful of rides for Aidan O'Brien booked for Saturday, including Due Diligence in the Darley July Cup and Air Vice Marshal in the bet365 Superlative Stakes.
