Moore to take time with Talbot Road Arthur Moore is in no rush to commit Talbot Road to any specific targets following his impressive maiden hurdle victory at Leopardstown over Christmas. The point-to-point winner travelled strongly and battled gamely to win what looked a warm race at the south Dublin track, with Moore describing the five-year-old in the winner's enclosure as "our big hope for the future". Despite the high regard in which the gelding is held, Moore sees his charge as more of a chaser and he is unlikely to be thrown in at the deep end at this stage of his career. "He's in good form. He's just been taking it easy for a couple of weeks but hopefully he'll be back in February," said the trainer. "I'm not sure where we'll go with him. I'd like to run him in a winners-of-one race somewhere, but I'm not sure there are any. "We'll give him a couple of entries and see. He might have to run in a handicap. He won't be entered for Cheltenham."
