Home Farm is not a definite runner in the Crabbie's Grand National, according to his trainer Arthur Moore.

The seven-year-old was sent off the 9-2 favourite for the Carrickmines Handicap Chase at Leopardstown on Sunday, but could only finish seventh.

A 25-1 chance for Aintree, Moore was somewhat disappointed with his effort in a race won by stablemate Pass The Hat.

"I was a little disappointed with him, but he's come out of the race fine," said the County Kildare handler.

"We haven't made a definite decision yet about Aintree.

"You could maybe say that the ground was a bit tacky on Sunday, but we aren't using that as an excuse.

"He looked very happy until the second-last and then just got tired.

"I suppose you could say he hadn't run since Christmas and he was entitled to get tired and he maybe needed it a bit."
