Trainer Joanna Morgan could send Moran Gra to America in October following his Cambridgeshire triumph at the Curragh.

The six-year-old chestnut won the big handicap over a mile by nearly two lengths, but has since been thwarted by the deteriorating ground.

Co Meath-based Morgan said: "It's very frustrating as he's absolutely bouncing at home.

"The problem is he needs that rock-hard ground and it doesn't look like he's going to get it here.

"I had him in a Group Three at Haydock, but the ground went soft and we couldn't run him.

"There's a Grade Two in October in America that we are thinking about, but it's a costly business so I need to sit down with his owners to work out a plan."
