Morgan pair line-up in Navan feature Joanna Morgan is double-handed in tomorrow's Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap at Navan with Sli Na Fiarana and Voice Of A Curlew. Sli Na Fiarana is running from 3lb out of the handicap but was not far behind Stony Grey last time out, with that form being franked at the weekend. Voice Of A Curlew has more to find as she runs from 9lb 'wrong' at the weights, but the soft ground has persuaded Morgan to let them both run. The presence of Aidan O'Brien's Beach Of Falesa at the head of the handicap means only five of the nine runners are competing off their correct weight. "They are both crying out for soft ground, although I hate running horses from out of the handicap," said Morgan. "Sli Na Fiarana ran great the last day and if she upholds that form she has a shot. Wayne (Lordan) has won on her before and he knows her well. "Voice Of A Curlew is quite a bit out of the handicap, but she is going to the sales on Thursday, so it will probably be her last race for me. Pat Smullen rode her to finish fourth in a Curragh maiden the last day and he said the ground was just too quick for her there." John McConnell runs Sheilas Wish, who has enjoyed a fruitful summer. The trainer said: "If she runs her last race she should go close. She ran a very good race last time in Listowel from a poor draw and the winner has gone up 22lb since. "It's a long old season and, while she is well at home, you are always worried whether they might train off a bit. Dropping back in trip is no worry at all. She has run well over the trip before, but Navan is a very stiff track and it's going to be very soft. "The ground is a plus for her, and Colin (Keane) gets on well with her. It's an important few weeks for him in the apprentice championship, so hopefully we can get him another winner."
