Moriarty next for Lenabane

Lenabane is likely to go for the Dr P J Moriarty Chase at Leopardstown following his fine effort in defeat at the track on Monday.

Trainer Dessie Hughes was encouraged by the performance of the seven-year-old to finish fourth behind Pandorama in the Knight Frank Chase and a return to the track in February is now on the agenda.

"It was a good run from him," remarked the County Kildare handler.

"He'll go for the P J Moriarty at Leopardstown in February and then we might look at Cheltenham."

Hughes had mixed reports about Schindlers Hunt and In Compliance, who were fifth and pulled up respectively in the Lexus Chase on Tuesday.

"They seem fine. It was a good race and I suppose we were not as good as those," Hughes added.

"Schindlers Hunt ran well considering the ground and In Compliance didn't run well for whatever reason, but he seems fine."
