Morning among Solerina entries The exciting Morning Run is among 15 entries for the Grade Three Solerina Mares Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse on Saturday. The six-year-old has won three bumpers and her first two starts over hurdles for Willie Mullins so far and is one of a handful of possibles for the champion trainer. He has also entered Lyrical Theatre, who only has one defeat on her record after five outings, as well as the Supreme Racing Club-owned Uranna. "If we can get a bit of place money and some black type we'll be happy," said Supreme Racing manager Steve Massey. "Willie's other two mares look very good. "We have tended to buy a lot of mares because you can get a decent one for £50,000 or £60,000 compared to paying about £150,000 or £200,000 for a gelding of similar ability. "If you have a mare who can win a bumper, over hurdles and fences they are very valuable - look at Tarla, who Rich Ricci sold for 170,000 euros. "Uranna jumps really well and she'll probably be better over fences." Carrigmoorna Rock, Keppols Queen and Melbourne Lady are also in the mix.
