Morshdi heads German field Morshdi, winner of the Italian Derby and runner-up to Galileo in the Irish equivalent, heads a field of 15 declared today for the UAE Grosser Preis von Baden in Germany on Sunday.Peter Robinson will ride the Michael Jarvis-trained son of Slip Anchor in the Stg£550,000 mile-and-a-half contest.Also in the line-up for the Baden-Baden Group One feature, which is the fourth leg of the Emirates World Series, is local Derby victor Boreal.Boreal is trained by Peter Schiergen and will be partnered by John Reid.The colt is a half-brother to Borgia, who won both the German Derby and the Grosser Preis von Baden in 1997.Included in the home team is Sabiango, who has been referred to as the best three-year-old in Germany.The Andreas Wohler-trained Sabiango was withdrawn from the German Derby due to the soft going.
