Mossbank set for Rehearsal Mossbank will be given another chance to prove he still has all his old ability with Newcastle's Rehearsal Chase a possible next port of call. The 10-year-old finished third in the Punchestown Guinness Gold Cup back in 2008 but then spent well over two years on the sidelines. He was well beaten on his belated return to action in the JNwine.com Champion Chase at Down Royal earlier this month but his trainer Michael Hourigan hopes for a better result at Gosforth Park on November 27. "He came out of the Down Royal race perfect and we're happy with him," said the County Limerick handler. "It was his first race in a long time and he just got a bit tired. "It's hard to tell if he still retains all of his old ability but hopefully we'll know more after his next race. "At the moment we're looking at the Rehearsal Chase at Newcastle at the end of the month."
