Mount Benbulben to contest Monksfield Hurdle The Gordon Elliott trained Mount Benbulben is to contest the Grade 2 Monksfield Novice Hurdle at Navan on Sunday with the Grand National winning trainer hopeful of a big run. Elliott said “Mount Benbulben was very impressive the last day at Thurles and he is a horse that we think a lot of. We think he is well up to this class and we are looking forward to it and he goes well on soft ground,” remarked Elliott. Elliott also sends Tharawaat for the Troytown Chase and he said "Tharawaat is in good form and he was very good at Galway. He has a lot of weight on his back, but he loves testing ground and we’d be delighted if he ran into the money.”
