Moviesta camp eye Sprint Cup at Haydock Moviesta could be supplemented for next month's Betfred Sprint Cup at Haydock after he returned to winning form at the Curragh on Saturday. The five-year-old ran out a three-quarter-length winner of the Renaissance Stakes, recording his first win since the 2013 King George Stakes at Goodwood. Moviesta was trained by Bryan Smart then but was transferred to the care of Eddie Lynam in the spring and was having his fourth start for his new handler. Part-owner Ritchie Fiddes said : "It was a strong race for a Group Three. "We always felt he wasn't just a five-furlong horse and switching him off is the key. "He hadn't cut the mustard previously over six, but now knowing he stays it well opens up so many more options. "He bled at Goodwood so at least he had an excuse there but people were saying 'that's sprinters, they are in and out', so it would be nice to find some consistency. "He obviously wasn't feeling any after effects from Goodwood and barely had a race. "We'd be happy to supplement him for Haydock if we think that is the right race, we'll see how he is nearer the time. "It's just great to have him back. Whether he'll go for the Abbaye again I'm not sure, but we're keen on Dubai and trying him on dirt. "He's American-bred and Paul (Mulrennan) said he moved well on it."
