Moviesta misses Sunday's Abbaye Moviesta will not run in Sunday's Prix de l'Abbaye at Longchamp. Third last year in the Group One when beaten less than half a length for Bryan Smart, he was moved to Eddie Lynam earlier in the season. He won his first race for over two years at the Curragh in August and was sent off co-favourite to follow up in the Flying Five on Irish Champions Weekend but he finished well beaten. "He just strained himself in the soft ground at the Curragh so he won't be going to France," said part-owner Ritchie Fiddes. "He probably won't go to Dubai now and we'll aim him at all the major six-furlong races like the Diamond Jubilee and the July Cup. "Interestingly, now Eddie has got him to settle, he said he's keen to run him over seven furlongs next season at some point."
