The Tommy Stack trained Muizenberg Nights made a winning handicap debut in the www.thetote.com Handicap at Dundalk this evening, arriving late to win under Wayne Lordan.

Stack wasn't present for the win but the trainer's son Fozzy Stack later reported by phone “I'm delighted for her owner (Mary Slack) as she's had horses with us for four or five years and I'll talk to her now about the possibility of covering her in 'southern hemisphere time' at her stud (Wilgerbofdrift Stud) in South Africa.”

Winning jockey Wayne Lordan also later stated “they went quite a strong gallop and she (Muizenberg Nights) struggled to travel early on. She tried very hard though and went to the line well.”
