Mullins and Hayes at double with Are You Around Willie Mullins and Brian Hayes posted a quick-fire double in Wexford When Are You Around was driven out to take race two - the Curragh To Curragh Charity Mares Maiden Hurdle. The easy-to-back 6/1 chance was among a plethora of horses that swamped the leader Bold Reflection into the home straight and she hit the front over two out. Hayes asked her for more on the run-in and she wasn't for giving up the first prize as she strode in by two and three-quarter lengths from Thesilverbridle who brought up each-way bets as she was backed in from 50/1 to 16/1. Miss Jocund (4/1 - 3/1) rounded out the placings in third, beaten four lengths by the winner. Hayes and Mullins also took the opener with Highland Realm at 7/2. Owner James Fenton said: "I bought her myself as a yearling and sent her back to the sales as a three-year-old, but couldn't believe nobody wanted her. I own her with a very good friend Mick Cawley, so I told him we'd hold on to her and we lease her to the club (Closutton Racing Club). "She is called after my father as every time he rings me, he asks 'are you around?'. Grainne, the secretary in Willie Mullins' office, wanted a name for her and as I was talking to her, my father was ringing, so that's how she got her name. I'm delighted for my father and my own two girls are here too, which is great. "She ran very well here in a bumper (third) previously and when these mares mature, you get to see exactly what you have. She loves that ground." Additional reporting by Tom Weekes
