Willie Mullins brings a strong team of nine horses to Thurles this afternoon with four runners in the featured Make Your Best Bet At BetVictor Chase.

Paul Townend partners Haut En Couleurs who had the Grade 2 Horse And Jockey Chase at his mercy when falling at the last over 2m4f here in January, while Capodanno James du Berlais and Classic Getaway also represent the Closutton yard in this 2m6f Listed event. French Dynamite a four-time course winner, is an interesting contender for Mouse Morris while Farouk D’alene represents Gordon Elliott.

The field has been reduced to seven runners in the absence of Janidil (coughing) and Ex Patriot (stone bruise).

Grade 1 winning hurdler Il Etait Temps switches to fences in the opening beginners chase, while Mullins could have the favourite in all three maiden hurdles on the card with Lombron Fun Fun Fun and Daddy Long Legs

The going at Thurles remains yielding, good to yielding in places, on the chase course and yielding on the hurdle course following no rain overnight.

The forecast is for a cold day with sunny spells and the possibility of scattered showers and the first on a seven-race card is scheduled for 12.10.
