Danny Mullins brought up a quick-fire double in race four at Kilbeggan on Presenting Bonnie for John Ryan.

It was her handicap debut in this two mile race for four-year-olds and upwards rated 80-102.

The six-year-old mare picked up really well when asked to close on General Moriviere

She charged past the leader on the run to the final flight and was kept up to her work to win by two and three quarter lengths.

The Presenting mare was heavily backed from 7/2 down to 15/8 favourite and was following up on a course and distance victory in a maiden hurdle last month. Turkestan finished nicely for second at 12/1 by a neck from General Moriviere (7/2).

Ryan said: “She’s a good mare and Danny gave her a great ride. She won her maiden here the last day. The handicapper put her up 5lb and I thought she was reasonably well handicapped.

“She loved that better ground and is going to be a very good mare over fences. She’s by Presenting and all that family love to rattle off the ground.”

Mullins was also on board Ruaille Buaille who took race three on the card.
