Mullins sends raiding party to Auteuil Willie Mullins is set to have a number of runners in France this weekend headed by On His Own in the Grade One Grand Steeplechase de Paris. The 11-year-old, who will be partnered by Ruby Walsh, was pulled up on his most recent start in the Punchestown Gold Cup last month. The Paul Nicholls-trained Sire Collonges is a likely rival in the three-mile contest. The Closutton maestro will be doubly represented in the Prix La Barka this weekend, with Walsh riding Val De Ferbet and Nathalie Desoutter, the top female rider in France, on Gitane Du Berlais. Analifet is another raider for the champion trainer in the Prix d’Arles with Bryan Cooper aboard. Mullins also has Perfect Gentleman in the mix for the Gras Savoye Hipcover Prix Marechal Foch after he was pulled up in the Irish Grand National on his latest outing. Perfect Gentleman had previously run a fine fourth in the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, and will again be ridden by the trainer's son Patrick.
