Multiple Martin Raid on Cesarewitch Leg Spinner heads the weights for Saturday's totesport.com Cesarewitch as he bids to win the valuable prize for the second year in succession. Tony Martin's charge beat off the challenge of Caracciola to score 12 months ago and the runner-up does reoppose this year. Martin also has Northumberland Plate hero Arc Bleu, Top The Charts and Stage Manager engaged at this stage but he is only likely to run three of the four. "Leg Spinner did a piece of work a while back that I was very happy with so as long as the ground doesn't go heavy, he'll run on Saturday," Martin told At The Races. "He's a horse who has had a lot of niggly problems but he is tough and hardy and he has never hit the heights over hurdles that we thought he would. The handicapper is probably catching him up with him a bit on the Flat but we'll keep plugging away with him. "I would say we will definitely run two or three in the Cesarewitch with Arc Bleu probably coming over. We might put Robbie Colgan on Leg Spinner to claim a bit of weight off and hopefully Johnny Murtagh might ride Arc Bleu. "Top The Charts finished second at Royal Ascot a couple of years ago over a mile and a half and probably wouldn't mind a bit of ease in the ground - I'm keen enough to run him. Stage Manager wouldn't get in the race at the moment so he'd be the one who is less likely to run." All the main protagonists have stood their ground with ante-post favourite Askar Tau still on the list. Gee Dee Nen also remains, while Mamlook and Liberate could represent two top National Hunt trainers in David Pipe and Philip Hobbs.
