Harry’s Bar is off on his travels again as he contests a Class 2 sprint handicap at Chester on Thursday.

The eight-year-old gelding has won 14 times on all-weather surfaces.

He was last seen finishing third in Listed class at Wolverhampton and fifth on the valuable card at Newcastle on Good Friday.

The son of Exceed And Excel could face a maximum of 11 rivals in this £40,000 race over an extended five furlongs.

Ado McGuinness said: "He loves going around a bend and I think he’ll handle it.

"Ideally he’d like six (furlongs) around there. Seven and a half was the other race there, so I said I’d rather go for the shorter trip.

“I wouldn’t like to see it get too soft. It’s good there at the moment.

“He wouldn’t want too much rain and, if not, then he’ll definitely go.”
