The Mick Mulvany trained Stormy Tale gained a second career success at Tipperary today landing the Costello's Tavern Handicap under jockey Ben Coen.

The daughter of Stormy River gained her maiden success at Sligo in May and today gained a three and a quarter lengths win over So Enjoy

Mulvany later commented "it was nice to get it as I thought she was a little unlucky the last day at Leopardstown when she got cut off when coming with a run.

"I don't know where to go now but we'll see what's there for her and she seems to be improving all the time.

"That's Ben's first winner for me and he had ridden a couple of placed horses for me. I think he's a very good young fellow and he is the future if he can keep his weight down. I think he's well worth his 7lbs claim."
