Murphy happy with Zeb Colm Murphy's Big Zeb is all set for a return to action in the Grade 2 Tied Cottage Chase at Punchestown on January 31. The eight-year-old looked as good as ever on his reappearance at Navan, but then disappointed when a well-beaten fourth in the Tingle Creek at Sandown. However Murphy has been delighted with his progress since then, and is looking forward to seeing him back on the track at the end of the month. The Co. Wexford handler said: "He seems really well in himself and I couldn't be happier with him. Navan probably took more out of him than we thought so he's had a little break, but he's good now and it's onwards and upwards." "I presume his next and final run before Cheltenham will be in the Tied Cottage Chase at Punchestown at the end of the month. I'd put a line through his run in the Tingle Creek and hopefully he can build on it."
