Johnny Murtagh’s Keukenhof landed her second win of the year in the Winter Series At Dundalk Apprentice Handicap at Dundalk today, scoring under the trainer’s retained apprentice jockey Denis Lenihan.

The daughter of Dutch Art was previously successful at the venue in July and today scored a neck win over Like A Prayer

Afterwards Murtagh stated “that’s 35 winners for the year - I targeted 25 so we’ve had a great year.

“She handles the track well and I thought she’d win a couple of races this year - the handicapper seems to have her level.

“We’ll keep her going for January and February and she’s paying her way and is a grand filly. She’ll probably get a bit stronger next year.”
