Murtagh looking forward to tackling Stars again

Johnny Murtagh is geared up to having yet another crack at Sea The Stars with Fame And Glory in Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp.

The Irish Derby winner would also have an Epsom Derby and Irish Champion Stakes on his record of achievement had it not been for John Oxx's colt.

Those are the only two reverses in his seven-race career to date, but with the Arc sure to be run at a decent gallop, Murtagh will no doubt be keen to make stamina an issue this time.

"I'm really looking forward to riding Fame And Glory," said Murtagh.

"He's in good form, he came out of the Irish Champion Stakes really well and I can't wait for Sunday.

"He had a little break after he won the Irish Derby and Aidan (O'Brien) has told everybody that he will just be that little bit sharper on Sunday.

"It's a big field so you'll need plenty of luck in running.

"I think once you have a mixture of Irish, English, French and German jockeys in a race they tend to go a good gallop and that opens everything up."
