Murtagh set to partner Fame Aidan O'Brien expects Johnny Murtagh to side with Fame And Glory in Sunday's Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh. Seamus Heffernan was on board the colt when he chased home Sea The Stars in the Investec Derby at Epsom earlier in the month, with Murtagh having decided to partner Rip Van Winkle, who was fourth. With the latter set to line up in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown on Saturday week, O'Brien believes Murtagh will now get the leg-up on Fame And Glory as he bids to turn the tables on his Epsom conqueror. "I would imagine Johnny would ride Fame And Glory. Before Epsom he was a big Fame And Glory fan and a big Rip Van Winkle fan, obviously he went with Rip," O'Brien told At The Races. "With Rip Van Winkle set to go to the Eclipse, I would imagine Johnny would ride Fame And Glory. "I would think that's the way it's going to be."
