Johnny Murtagh will ride the favourite Cape Blanco in Sunday's renewal of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh.

Aidan O'Brien has selected Cape Blanco for Murtagh despite the colt running below expectations in the French equivalent on softer ground.

Epsom Derby fourth Jan Vermeer will be partnered by Seamie Heffernan while Colm O'Donoghue will ride Midas Touch.
