My Titania on course for Kilboy Estate Stakes My Titania is on course to have her second start of the season in the Kilboy Estate Stakes at the Curragh next Sunday. The John Oxx-trained filly is held in high regard but has had an interrupted campaign, being forced to miss the English and Irish Guineas due to a setback and rain-softened ground respectively. Her sole three-year-old run to date came in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, where she was far from disgraced in staying on quite takingly for fourth, beaten less than three lengths behind Rizeena. Oxx is expecting improvement from the run as she steps up in distance. He said: "Nine furlongs would look an ideal trip for her, certainly a nice progression from the mile of the Coronation, so we'll see how she goes. "She hit the gates very fast in Ascot, she jumped out like a sprinter and there was no pace so she was a bit too keen for the first few furlongs, but for a filly that was keen early she finished out the race well. "I was happy enough, it was disappointing it didn't go to plan but I was happy with the way she coped with it."
