Spirit And Glory was the second winner at Dundalk today to score by a nose, as the Mick Mulvany trained filly narrowly landed the DundalkStadium.com Maiden under jockey Wesley Joyce.

The daughter of Cotai Glory finished third on her previous start on December 17 and today gained an all-out win over Sister Bridget

Mulvany later said “I thought we were second - I think this is a good filly, she's improving all the time.

“She's a big sound filly and I'd be hoping that she'd go on from here. She was very green the first couple of days and is only really learning on the job.

“I don't know where we'll go next, we'll have to have a look. She gets that trip and probably a little bit further in time.” White Marlin was the earlier nose winner of the 4.15pm handicap.
