Massini's Trap is set to skip a weekend engagement at Tramore with trainer James Nash weighing up the options for his recent Ballinrobe winner.

The five-year-old has been mixing it over obstacles and on the level recently, obliging as favourite on the Flat over 13 furlongs on Monday.

He holds an entry in Saturday's Annestown Handicap but Nash believes it is unlikely that he will tackle that one-mile-six-furlong heat.

The trainer said: "He's come out of the race at Ballinrobe in good form, but getting 11lb for that win will make it hard for him again.

"He's entered at Tramore on Saturday but it's unlikely he will run there. There are a couple of hurdle races that we may look at."
