The Navan meeting scheduled for Sunday but cancelled earlier today due to waterlogging has been refixed for Tuesday May 7.

The all-Flat card, featuring the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Salsabil Stakes, will be an evening fixture beginning at 5.35pm.

The sprint course at Navan gave particular cause for concern and, with four of the seven races due to be run on the straight sprint track, a decision was made to cancel Sunday's meeting.

Parts of the track were found to be waterlogged and, with the ground already heavy and a poor weather forecast for Saturday night into Sunday, officials had little option put to cancel the fixture.
