Ned right in Champion Chase mix Nicky Richards believes Simply Ned is right in the mix for the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase. Having finished in front of Dodging Bullets in the Shloer Chase at Cheltenham in November, he then claimed third in the Dial-A-Bet Chase at Leopardstown. The return to likely good ground is a big bonus, according to Richards. He said: " The only consistent two-miler this year has been Dodging Bullets and we pipped him down at Cheltenham. "One thing that is for sure is that my horse will appreciate the better ground, he'll be a lot better on it. "It will all come down to if he's good enough on the day. "The race will be run to suit, there's a few trailblazers. "Every time we've asked him to run at the highest level he hasn't disappointed us. "He's in fine form and I hope it stays that way."
