Nell Gwyn winner joins Wachman Nell Gwyn winner Esentepe topped the sale at Tattersalls yesterday and will join trainer David Wachman in Tipperary. The Oratorio filly was bought for 22,000 guineas by Middleham Park Racing but made 220,000 on Thursday. Trained by Richard Hannon to win two of her 14 starts, she was bought by Blandford Bloodstock's Tom Goff for an overseas partnership. "It was very nearly my last bid," said Goff. "I think she is a lovely filly as both a broodmare and a racing prospect and I think she might have made more if she had been offered in December. "She will have a short holiday and will go into training with David Wachman and will then go to stud."
