No Doubt for Townend and Mullins

Dare To Doubt justified her short price in some style when making every yard of the running in the mares maiden hurdle at Limerick.

Willie Mullins and Paul Townend were out of luck with hotpot Aughaloor in the opener but only had to wait half an hour for compensation.

Dare To Doubt was a warm order at 8/11 and the King's Theatre mare was always in control from prime position.

She pulled away from her rivals, with the minimum of ease, down the straight and went on to record an effortless 14-length victory over 20/1 shot Country Flora

"We decided to go back to making the running with her and she seemed much happier out in front today," said Mullins.

"She'll go down the novice hurdle route. She may get an entry for Cheltenham but we might try and find easier options for her."
