Winning trainer McAteer said afterwards: “That’s the horse fifth run he’s still only a baby but he always travelled like a winner.” “He will go to Listowel for a 6 furlong race and he’ll need the 6 furlongs as he stays the trip well. I’ve had a couple of winner’s around here but mostly over fences.”
