Normans Grove news Paul Nolan's Noble Prince continues his Cheltenham Festival preparations in the Normans Grove Chase at Fairyhouse on Sunday. The son of Montjeu captured the Jewson Novices' Chase at last year's Festival and is being primed for the Ryanair Chase this season. Having chased home crack two-miler Big Zeb on his last couple of appearances, he bids to get back on the winning trail this weekend, but the likes of Tranquil Sea and Blazing Tempo should ensure he is made to work. "The ground is going to be heavy which is not ideal, but he's in good form and hopefully if he comes out of it perfectly OK, it will be his last outing before Cheltenham," said Nolan. "It's going to be testing conditions, but we're hopeful he'll jump a nice, clear round. "He fell the last time he ran there but he should be OK and it's a nice little race. We'll take it from there regarding Cheltenham. "The Ryanair is the only race he's entered in at Cheltenham so we've no temptation to run in anything else. "All going well coming out of Sunday's race, we'll go to Cheltenham." Tony Martin believes the predicted testing conditions will hold no fears for his runner, Pyscho. The 11-year-old reverts back to the bigger obstacles after two placed runs over hurdles. He was second to the reopposing Tranquil Sea the last time he tackled fences in the Clonmel Oil Chase in November. "He's in good form. We're happy for him to take his chance, see how we get on and go from there," said the County Meath handler. "The ground will be on the heavy side, but that won't worry him. He's been on it before."
