The Hilary McLoughlin-trained Nothing Hectic (14/1) was victorious in the finale at Ballinrobe, the Tim Kelly Group Handicap Hurdle, for jockey Philip Enright.

The seven-year-old daughter of Mizzou, owned by local businessman and race sponsor Tim Kelly, had won a maiden over course and distance just under a year ago and was produced late to beat Poetic Focus by half a length.

"The instructions were to ride her as I found her, so I just dropped in and crept away and it worked out well," said Enright.

"Hilary has her horses in great form and was unlucky not to have a double tonight.

"And her partner Martin (Ferris, leading up), I trucked the country with him and it's great to ride a winner for him."
