O`Brien duo head Derby entries

A total of 25 horses remain in the #1.2 million Vodafone Derby following the latest forfeit stage for the premier Classic.

Aidan O`Brien`s, successful with Galileo last year, has left eight in the race, including ante-post market leaders High Chaparral and Hawk Wing.

Dermot Weld`s In Time`s Eye, second to High Chaparral in the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial, is another possible Irish raider for the June 8 showpiece.

Sagitta 2000 Guineas disappointment Naheef heads a team of five Godolphin possibles, along with Dante Stakes winner Moon Ballad and Predominate Stakes runner-up Dubai Destination.

Coshocton, conqueror of Dubai Destination in the Goodwood contest, represents Michael Jarvis, while John Gosden, successful with Benny The Dip in 1997, has left in that horse`s son, Proven.

One of the more notable absentees is the Sir Michael Stoute-trained King Of Happiness, who was also a disappointment in the Guineas after landing the Craven Stakes on his reappearance.

The Simon Magnier-trained Cast The Net has been left in in error _ it is understood that he is a gelding, in which he case he is ineligible to run.

Marcus Tregoning`s hope Tholjanah, who would go to Epsom unraced this season having not been seen out since finishing second in the Royal Lodge Stakes at Ascot, was the subject of each way support today with Coral.
