John O’Donoghue is hoping for another good showing from L L Koulsty back at Cork on Tuesday.

The three-year-old was fourth at the Mallow venue on his last outing and also won there as a juvenile last season.

He lines up in the Blackwater Apprentice Handicap, where he is set to run from 3lb out of the handicap proper. Rory Mulligan takes 2lb off his back.

"He ran very well there last time under Robyn Donaghue-Leahy and we are going to go down there again,” said O’Donoghue.

"I felt he was a horse for the Madrid (Handicap at Naas) earlier in the year, but that obviously hasn't materialised.

"He's a solid type and I'm sure there's another day in him.

"There was cut in the ground when he won there before and we won't be afraid of the rain. It is back to seven (furlongs) as well and we feel he stayed the mile pretty well."
