O`Brien trio left in French Oaks

Aidan O`Brien has left three in the French Oaks at today`s initial acceptance stage.

Irish 1000 Guineas winner Imagine, who is set to compete in the English Oaks at Epsom on Friday, remains in the Prix de Diane along with Snowflake and Fantasy Royale.

The overseas contingent is responsible for half the 20 acceptors.

However, six of the British acceptors are also engaged in the Vodafone Oaks at Epsom on Friday. They are Relish The Thought (Barry Hills), Tarfshi (Michael Jarvis), Najah (Godolphin), Time Away (John Dunlop) and the Ed Dunlop pair Mot Juste and Candice.

Although Time Away 'in all probability' heads to Chantilly according to Arundel spokesman, Marcus Hosgood. Pat Eddery has been booked to ride.

Mick Channon`s Arhaaf, the Lupe Stakes second, is the seventh British acceptor in the Chantilly Classic run on Sunday.

The home defence currently includes the first three home in the main trial, the Prix Saint-Alary, Nadia, Mare Nostrum and Choc Ice.

The highly-regarded Aquarelliste and Banks Hills, the impressive winner of the Prix de Sandringham at the weekend, also figure among the 10 home acceptors.

The others are Light Ballet, Spring Oak, Zghorta, Olkadia and Epistole.
