Porta Fortuna Targets September Return After Injury Setback Donnacha O'Brien is hoping to have Porta Fortuna back in time to defend her Matron Stakes crown at Leopardstown on Champions Weekend. A multiple winner at the highest level, the four-year-old daughter of Caravaggio was successful on her return to action in the Lanwades Stud Stakes at the Curragh in May. Subsequently picking up a ligament injury, a September return now looks likely. "She is good and back cantering. She picked up a ligament injury which has taken her a while to get back from and the earliest she will be back is for the Matron Stakes," O'Brien commented.
