O'Brien reveals plans for Derby trio The Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby is on Giovanni Canaletto's agenda following his fourth in the Investec Derby on Saturday. Aidan O'Brien had to swerve an intended prep at Chester and in stead the full-brother to 2013 Derby hero Ruler Of The World ran in the Gallinule Stakes just 13 days before the Epsom Classic. "Giovanni Canaletto ran well. It just came a little too quick for him and we would have loved to have gone to Chester," said O'Brien. "He's still a bit babyish and I think he'll progress well. He could come back for the Irish Derby." The Ballydoyle handler was also responsible for the sixth and seventh at Epsom, Kilimanjaro and Hans Holbein, and they are possibles for the St Leger. "Kilimanjaro will improve and will stay further, while Hans Holbein will be grand going further as well. "Those horses just didn't get the clearest run in the spring. "It looked a good solid race."
