Michael O’Callaghan may seek to add to his good record in the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Bosra Sham Fillies Stakes at Newmarket next Friday with Luna Mia.

The Eleanora Kennedy-owned daughter of Ardad won a Naas maiden last month and ran a cracker on her latest start at the same venue when runner-up to First Approach in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Birdcatcher Nursery.

O’Callaghan said, “It was a good run (in the Birdcatcher), a little bit unlucky really.

"We might run her in the Bosra Sham in Newmarket, just a tilt for a little bit of black type.

"We've been lucky before as Spy Ring was second in the Birdcatcher and was second in the Bosra Sham. Angelic Light won a Bosra Sham (in 2018).

“It is very important for those two-year-old fillies to get a bit of black type if they can, so we might go there.

“Hopefully she’ll make a nice three-year-old, but I'd say over sprinting trips. Six furlongs is probably her trip.”
